INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER LATAM – MIAMI (FULLTIME)

As an International Account Manager, you are responsible for the revenue and margins of our clients in Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, Colombia and Ecuador.

For our Components division, we are looking for an experienced, internationally oriented Account Manager who is used to thinking in concepts and solutions. Your role as International Account Manager

Your goal is to keep our clients satisfied and increase our market share and brand recognition in your region. To this end, you optimise and expand the sales of our existing clients. Furthermore, we expect you to actively acquire new clients. In this international position, you operate independently and must know how to present Coulisse’s concept and sell it to (potential) clients. You focus on the needs of (existing) clients and always put the customer first. Our clients are leading organisations in the window coverings market who use our components to manufacture high-end products.

You report to the Managing Director Coulisse Inc.

Your tasks

  • Increasing the revenue of existing Coulisse clients;
  • Drawing up a strategic sales plan for your region and your clients;
  • Making international client visits (circa 40% of the time, you work in our Miami office for the remaining 60%);• Actively approaching new clients;
  • Detect changes in the market and responding adequately;
  • Representing Coulisse at international tradeshows;
  • Attending internal product training sessions and collection presentations;
  • Facilitating close collaboration with the account team in the Miami office.

Your work environment

Coulisse operates in virtually every part of the world and we currently export to 86 countries. In 2017, our revenue was more than 100 million euros.

Coulisse consists of two business units. The Components division focuses on supplying our products in parts to the custom products sector, while the DIY division supplies finished products to the Do It Yourself market. As part of our Components division, you will be responsible for Coulisse’s growth and financial results in your region.

You collaborate closely with the back-office account team in Miami and the Netherlands, which follows up on orders and supports you in your duties. You are part of an international team of ten account managers who operate from our head office in the Netherlands and from various locations all over the world.

You are our new Account Manager if you:

  • Have a Bachelor degree in business or related
  • Have approx. five years of sales experience, three of which on an international level
  • Are fluent in English. Excellent command of Spanish is an advantage
  • Recognise yourself in our core values: customer centricity, collaboration, solution-oriented mind-set
  • Are willing to travel often to visit clients and attend international tradeshows

This is a Miami, FL based position. Candidates should have US residency and permission to work in the United States.

Of course, you must possess ample commercial insight. Furthermore, we expect you to be energetic, enterprising and independent. You keep a close eye on the competition and market trends and stay on top of the latest developments.
